Dress Your Shape! (Rectangle Body Ladies).

Now, this group of ladies are the least honest with themselves. They have got no curves so much that one could begin to imagine that they are stuffed with plant cells (get your biology textbook!), but they refuse to either admit it or give up. From rhetorical questions like "seems my hips are coming out, right?" to painfully forcing out those absent curves when taking selfies to nail-biting long hours in front of mirrors wondering what to do or whom to see to appease the gods of curves! Some go to the extent of thinking some mirrors are just haters! :p (sobs *smashes mirror*).

Honestly, the Rectangle shape ladies are not only the cutest but also have the ability to work out (Terms and conditions apply) to have Pear shape traits. They also retain their beauty for many years longer than any other group due to their cute nature.

Rectangle Body Celebrities: Genevieve Nnaji, Tiwa Savage-Balogun, Lupita Nyong'O, Kate Hudson, Cameron Diaz, Chidinma (Miss Kedike), Zoeey Deschanel.

Most Common Location in Africa: East Africa, North Africa.

Traits:
1. Your waist, hip and shoulder widths are similar.
2. You are quite on the slim side.
3. Your cute boobs are small or average.
4. Your cute bottom are small or average.

Best Assets:
1. Your arms.
2. Your legs.

Fashion Goals:
1. Create curves (By force!).
2. Show off slender legs and arms.
3. Display accessories creatively.

Dos and Don'ts.
1. Do wear colourful tops or bottoms.
2. Do wear designed and attractive clothes.
3. Do wear skirts that create an hip illusion.
4. Do wear gowns that create a waist widening illusion.
5. Do wear gowns that are free from the waist below.
6. Do wear tops that flatter your chest and arms.
7. Do wear a good bra that will make the most of those babies.
8. Do wear straight or pencil pants or jeans trousers.
9. Don't wear bell-bottomed or boot-cut pants or jeans trousers.
10. Don't wear wide round-mouthed shoes, go pointed!

Rectangle body ladies clean up real nice are usually the most beautiful when dressed up because they are quite the most creative when it comes to accessories. They are cute and show all round consistency in beauty through decades without fear of flabby moments through the years.

Dress Your Shape! (Wedge Body Ladies).

While some men are losing it trying to find that perfect Pear shaped lady with massive hips and bottom (ukwu! *faints*), some others are willing to hunt till their very last drop of blood to get that tongue-licking Wedge-shaped lady with charismatic shoulders and comforting boobs (Brrr!!! *how refreshing* :p).
A little scientific research I underwent (#Dr.Pop! :D) showed that the former preferred their ladies standing (posing around) or taking a stroll in parks or beach-chilling while the latter preferred their ladies sitting (restaurants, bars, cafés) or lying on their backs facing the ceiling or car chilling! Afterall, every guy fancies a clear view! :p Take note, ladies!
Moving on, let's focus on the wedge babies.

Wedge-Shape Celebrities: Waje, Oluchi, Funlola Aofiyebi-Raimi, Naomi Campbell, Bimbo Akintola, Wendy Williams.

Location in Africa: West Africa, South Africa.

Traits:
1. Your upper body is wider than your lower body.
2. Your chest is broad, which brings about a large surface area for those boobs.
3. You have wide shoulders.
4. You have a narrow waist.
5. You have narrow hips.
6. You have a flat bottom.

Best Asset:
Your shoulders.

Fashion Goals:
1. Focus more energy on your lower body.
2. Soften your shoulders and upper body.

Dos and Don'ts:
1. Do wear bright colours on bottom.
2. Do wear wide leg or straight leg pants. If you are short, you may want to stick to straight leg pant or jeans so as not to look shorter.
3. Do wear full skirts.
4. Do wear tops that gifts attention to your waistline.
5. Do wear gowns that create the illusion of a waist.
6. Do wear high waisted styles.
7. Don't wear spaghetti-strap tops.
8. Don't wear short tops on leggings (this really needs to stop!).
9. Don't wear boat neckline tops.

One unconscious habit found in wedge-shape ladies is that they pay a lot of attention on their faces and hairstyle. This is important because their chest and shoulders send signals up north.
You may want to ensure that your make-up is right and your hairstyle is tight.

Dress Your Shape! (Ladies)

Every woman should know her shape. Stop fantasizing unnecessarily or wishing you were someone else. Be honest (I know, I know; it's almost impossible for ladies!), then you will be able to find  clothes that fit and flatter. Embrace your body type and get your style right. Body shape is all about proportion and fashion is all about dressing those proportions to look their very best.

When thinking about body types don't focus on height and weight... Focus on shape! A slender girl can have the same body shape as a curvy girl, just as a short woman can have the same body shape as her taller friend (take my word for it, guys #BeenThereDoneThat)

Each lady has a unique body (Casanovas get my drift). However, ladies body shapes are generally narrowed down to five general categories: Pear, Wedge, Rectangle, Apple and Hourglass. You might fall into one category, or blend two or more categories.

Once you have determined your body shape, you can begin to consider which fashion trend to embrace and which to avoid. Spend some time in front of your mirror and do a fair and honest assessment of your body. Then put the fashion tips we are about to discuss to work for you!

In the next few articles, we shall discuss each of the five body shapes one at a time.

Fit First! (T-Shirts and Polo Shirts)

So back in school, I knew this guy who borrows people's clothes and make the owner be like "Arggh!, why don't I look as good as this in my own shirt! Smh!". In fact, the next time the real owner wears that same shirt, he feels he is no longer worthy of his own shirt! Sad right? :( Well, if you relate to such dilemma, cheer up because those days are now officially over.

When shopping for shirts, always use prudence (it is not always about the name or cost). Keep slimness, placement and comfort in mind when comparing your options. Yes, when it comes to style there will be exceptions but the 'fit-first' guidelines will prevent you from making serious mistakes.

You should note that concerning polo shirts, apply button-up rules to the collar and apply T-shirt rules (we are about to discuss) to the body and sleeves.

#1. Neck.
Round neck (crew neck) collars should not be too tight else the T-shirt would lose its shape. The round neck shouldn't be too lose either so you don't go around go around looking like an Egyptian Pharaoh slave. A shallow V work with many outfits. The deepest a V should go is the middle of your sternum, an inch above your nipples (bet some men can locate a woman's nipples faster than theirs #Hmmmm!)

 #2. Body.
Whether long or short sleeve, buttoned or unbuttoned T-shirt, it should fit slim through the body and straight at the sides. Your shirt should not be too tight to reveal every bump and curve of your body. If you have a sexy chest to make the ladies miss a heartbeat or to make other guys look like babies, you may want to try slim V-neck T-shirts. The shirt should at least completely cover your belt, but it should not be so long that it goes past your pant's or jeans' zip.

#3. Sleeves.
The shoulder seam should remain on the corner of one's shoulder. Short sleeve tees can have slim and even tight sleeves. However, avoid tees that are small when tight so as to avoid looking like a scarecrow or a perv. Generally avoid shirts that have sleeves which bell out at the sides, looking like an African dashiki.

Undershirts should fit much like tees but they can be a bit tighter. It is best to have undershirts that are white, black or grey. This blends with your skin and your shirt easily.

With the fit-first rules, you can now dress formally and informally while retaining that attractive look that keeps people wondering what makes about any style look good on you.
